What you will learn

Our classes are comprehensive, covering essential topics such as suiting up, fueling and lighting a smokersafely ,identifying beehive parts, understanding the beekeeping season, and recognising bee health and diseases. You'll gain crucial knowledge on flora bees like, the do's and don'ts of beekeeping, and the complete bee life cycle.

Hands-on experience

Get ready for practical experience! You will inspect a live hive, learn how to safely handle bees for both your protection and theirs, understand the June gap and winter feeding, and apply varroa treatments. We'll teach you to recognise diseases or colony problems, use hive tools effectively, and even handle frames and foundation, including  building  a frame and foundation yourself.
